Sackett’s Land by Louis L’amour-review

ImageCan’t have more fun in the early 17th century than this novel.  A constant page turner with a wide variety of proud, sometimes seedy characters.  England, tall ships, pirates, untamed America…it’s all here in splendid colorful chapters.  Definitely going onto the next book in the series.  I usually switch genres between books, but this Sackett’s series has me hooked with book one (chronologically speaking of course)!

Must give a tip of the hat to the artist that did the cover for this paperback, Gregory Manchess, it is stunning!
